Dresden: New Synagogue



The architecture is based on the form of the first Israelite temples. The gradual twisting of the building serves to turn the direction for
prayer to the East.

This is a unique building, so few windows!!

Since Dresden's city centre was destroyed in WWII you might expect a lot of modern architecture, but surprisingly this is the only building I find in the city so far.
